Well I'm pretty strapped for cash at the moment, I was thinking if anyone's a seen a GTI swift or something else that looks alright for $5000.
I want something manual if I can.
Oh or a commodore VL or 1989 model in OK nick either, but I might get a cheep one of them from down south.

yeah i drive a swift good car them,
i gots 2.. need to get rid of 1. lowered, rims, exhaust.. n maybe kit if price is right. no stereo, but for the price im asking u should still have a couple grand left for it.
I've got something in that price range you might be interested in here's the speel;
Nissan 300zx z-31 1984 2 Door Coupe 3.0l VG30e (injected) V6, 5 speed manual,
2+2 Targa, all electrics mirrors windows etc., Strong AC, returned to factory specification (nissan parts and all), Good condition, zero rust, 4 wheel disc brakes, recently replaced AFM, TPS, Batery electrics, Headliner, Completley overhauled fuel injection from the ecu all the way to the Injectors, have recepts, hornet keyless immobiliser fitted. 3 months rego left, just passed full inspection. Good tyres. Zero problems, everything works. Inspections welcome.
Reason for sale is that I bought a pretty banged up 1974 LH SLR-5000 Torana, which I've just recently got around to fixing up but the coffers are running pretty low at this point so the ZX's got to go.
$5,500 O.N.O. The car can even come to you for inspection if your genuinely interested and in Darwin.
P.S. If you do end up passing on the ZX for the love of christ dont buy a bloody swift, I mean just take a look for yourself;

Sif pay out the swift, they aren't bad. I like the new ones and the 1991-1999 model. They are no XR8, but they aren't a bad car.
The Swift is my first choice because it's closer to my budget. If it falls through I would love a ZX, I was actually saving for a 90's model, but I quit my job for school be for I got the money.

aircon needs gassing again, engine is otherwise in good nick. minor damage to front right hand panel where i had a disagreement with a fence once.
is a kind of ugly blue though. also has 'MUNGUS' permanently tattooed on the back, on account of wendy and a can of shaving cream.

To be honest I'm being a picky son a bitch about this, and my step dads sorta making sure I don't by anything that won't last the year.
