Hi Guys!
Supreme Commander is coming out this Thursday! I have been playing it and its bloody wicked! Please have it installed on your machines before the LAN so we can have heaps of big games!
If anyone needs a bit of practice let me know via PM and I can hopefully get you the game :-)

I will be practicing some-what. I will get my ass handed to me, no doubt, but it will be fun nonetheless.

Has anyone actually played this game over LAN and compared the speed with Skirmish? Maybe its just the AI thinking really hard that backs your CPU up like an old toilet.
I'll still play though.

Myself Brownie and Neotheo, are playing over the internet and it does slow down when there is big things happening.
However I can run 60-80 guys into a base, shit flying everywhere and not have any problems.

the way the game is visually set out annoys the crap out of me...
apparently its built for dual screens though which would explain why.

dunno, didnt ask, his voice hadnt broken yet and i feared the answer, he was either still playing on his mums 486 dx 66 or he had gods own PC probably paid for by his mum, either way i would have been left feeling unsatisfied by his response

i now need some advice, for maximum respect at this LAN event, where should i proudly wear / display my "Metal Supreme Commander Badge"?
I now have for sale:
1 x Metal Supreme Commander Badge 3 x Faction Posters 3 x Art Cards 1 x Bonus CD
Ps. dont pay extra for the collectors edition unless you are actually a collector :p

the dual screen is just a second copy of the map area I use it so I can keep focused on my base and on the current front line of conflict a the same time.

You can zoom in and out on the 2nd screen just like the first.... Good for controlling two armies in different parts of the map at the same time. Quite handy really.
