I just caught the local Darwin news.
3 kids stole a holden crewman and a 4x4 from the same house over a period of a few days.... took them both for joy rides, and crashed them both. You'd expect the little basturds to be thrown in Don Dale. But no, they got a "verbal warning" by police and were released.
What a complete load of crap.
What do you think the kids are gonna do next week? Steal another car perhaps?? I'd say so, nothing happens to them when they do.
Makes my blood boil.
