Well hit the river this morning at 7am, to see if I can get rid of the barraginity of my boat. And with 10mins the curse was no more.

Working the S Bends we managed to hook up 4 fish, from 57cm through to the biggest of the day 72cm.

First trawl of the S bends produced a good fish which spat the Classic +3 in Guns and Roses colours.
Turned around and re trawled and we were on to a 57cm fish. Good start to the day. Thought well lets try again and bang on again. This time a 65cm fish. Turned around again, to see 4 boats trawl the spot for nothing thought well i must have got em all but went again anyways .. and BANG - 72cm all the way to the boat. Had another go for no result so moved on.

Went down the right hand side leading to Catfish Island and no sooner had the river opened up were we onto another fish, this time at 62cm. My mate darren was excited. 2 minutes later and he was on again, again 65cm .. A bit of a time barrier opened up and we thought the fish were off the chew, when we saw over the other side, a pair getting into 2 fish in the space of 20m of water. Looked to be a good size from the distance.

No sooner had we thought of changing sides, we were on again. 60cm barra to the boat and let go.

We were now fishing lucifers in a blue and purple colour ?? .. We started off with some Tarpon and then as we headed back out Darren again onto this time a Saratoga out of the weed edge.

Home by 1pm after leaving at 6am .. Good way to spend a sunday morning and I couldnt be happier.

Nice Kurt, nice :D

My Dad and I used to go to Corroboree at least once a month.
Haven't been down there for about 2-3yrs though. What are the roads like these days? What was your travel time each way?

My Dad's coming up mid July and I wouldn't mind taking him out there again.

took me an hour to get there. and the road was graded within the last 7 days. so was really good
