with the price of Hdd's being absolutely awesome atm i think its time for a upgrade. im going to do a bulk order early next week for me a a few others. if you want in on the order please let me know. the items i can get are

for the first year i think the reseller will cover the warranty costs, so VIC/NSW. there after you will have to go through seagate http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/warranty_&_returns_assistance/ ill double check it all tomorrow though

and seagate are pretty damn good going through that website. i had a 200g drive replaced in 5 days (total turnaround) with a 250gb refurbished drive.

The good thing about WD is that I've never needed one replaced, not in about 9 years of using them. ;)

yeah i used to swear by WD until 3 of mine died in 6 days, i was so cut. i woudnt touch the product for 2 years. but i now use either WD or seagate.
