Upon trying to stir the NT members of OCAU into action, Ive given up prodding them for a while. I thought I might have more luck getting members from here, and even some of you that are also members of OCAU interested in a meet.
The main plan at this stage is to hold a BBQ and have a casual social event. It would be BYO booze, of course :p
Im looking for suggestions for venues (my house at mcminns lagoon, lee point - do they even have bbqs at lee point?, howard springs nature park), and a general expression of interest.
As Ive stated on OCAU, even if we get as few as 5 people interested, I would still call the meet a success :)

oh :p well i took it for granted that i was sure there would be a great deal of people who are on both ocau and dga. i didnt know if the NT people were more active here or on dga, so i decided to try and organise a joint meet :)

Im looking at the bbq down the end of Lee Point Rd. If anyone can suss it out for me over the next few days thatd be awesome, if not Ill con my parents into driving me down, mmmmk? :p
As far as food goes, would people prefer to bring a donation of food (ie, someone brings some sausages, someone else brings buns, condiments, drinks, etc) or would you prefer i buy the lot then we split the money between us?
