This was for a client however it did not do what it was required (bloody salesmen told me it did something that it sucked in doing)

There is nothing wrong with this product, it can play videos with ease.
If it cannot be sold within the next 2 days - its going to be returned to the distributor.

i have one of these and it works great with a HDD inside it...

Highly recommended...

it cuts in and out when playing a .vob file (dvd) across a network because the .vop file is HUGE!!! compressed video works great

SOLUTION - get a video extender but i will have to run it at 1024 * 768 and HOPE it will work :p

...or just run the file from the local HDD..

Your picture is of the Wireless version - I'll buy that for "75!

I have the normal Ethernet version but run everything from the HDD... works great.

+1 mediagate rocks, love the constant firmware updates to keep up with codec releases.

i went to their website and i could download the new firmware quite easily

but I'm vaguely certain that they DID have a high-end product with NDAS in the name - though it may've been phased out when the 350HD was released. Don't quote me on that tho.

Sold. Been meaning to buy one for a while.
However I fly to adelaide thurseday and am on the road allday tomorrow so won't be able to arrange payment collection untill I get back mid next week if that is OK.

Feel free to still upgrade firmware if you like.
