Some of you may remember him as Minbari, others may know him as his Baewen, but the point is that Vorly is back!
I spoke to him a couple of days ago encouraging him to download TF2. Last night he did, and from late evening until this very moment (10am the net day), he's still playing - without sleep.
He's in the GU Steam Community Group as Baewen, and is playing under the same name. If you seem him around, be sure to say hi!

I thought i would drop a line, not sure if anyone would remember me from TF but i used to run around as Huraaa.
If memory serves me correct min was with TE, and you also played ET under tent? if not i am just shooting blanks.
Just wanted to see if i am barking up the right tree when i stumbled across these forums. Been in wow for to long and lost contact with nearly everyone.

Huraaa - your alias sounds familiar, I think I may have played with you in the past?
As for Minbari - he does play for Third Eye, but this was/is a different Minbari than the one you're thinking of!
If you're playing much TF2, you may see the Minbari you're thinking of around, as he has started playing it.

Yeah i remember playing with both PnP, and AF for a stint, i was always battling a crappy dialup from Tasmania in those days, but since i have gotten out and in sydney. I didn't change my alias for TF, so it was me if you remember.
I remember a fair few alias, but most of everyone has changed or gone.

I've got all the movies + seasons on my xbox HDD, ready for a viewing when desired :)
season 2-3's probably my favourite
but g'kar gets better and better as his character grows
I tried watching crusade too, but it was a bit kooky for me - felt too "star trek" in that there was no real story arc being developed. Galen carried the show like I carry rec in TF2.
Personally I would say 3-4 seasons being the best.
Crusade would have been great, but they only made 13 episodes, so the characters didn't have any chance to grow.
I'm waiting to buy Babylon 5 on blu-ray or HD DVD if it ever comes out.
Why oh why did I buy this online instead of getting it from the store for a quick install, damn you 512 adsl gonna take me all night just to get TF2, DAMN YOU!

Cos you saved about $50. Can you grab the files from someone? It will save you a bit of time.
Nah don't know anyone I can copy it off, I'll just wait and be patient, and force myself not to sit here and stare at the download going sooooooo sloooooooooow.
Weird though, it started at 28% hope it doesnt stuff up somewhere down the line. If my calculations are correct it will be ready to play at approximately 2am :(
What other HL2 engine games did you have installed? If any, it would have borrowed data from it (which is why you would have started at 28%).
Well that's what I figured but I removed HL2: DM recently and only have CS:S active, maybe it pulled some out of the cache who knows.
What sort of system am I gonna need to run this game at a decent level?

1GB DDR2 667mhz
Geforce 8600GT
Was gonna go for dual SLI but didn't get the right motherboard, DOH! as long as I can avg 60fps I'll be happy.
You'll get perfectly playable frames with that mate. Would need to be running it on Medium to get consistantly smooth play though.
