yeah happened the other day. everything seems alot faster too.

Post 3

mine only kicked in about 30 min ago. noticed the speed difference too. w00t

Post 4

Mine upgraded to hotmail live of its own volition, and then deleted my 10 years of emails a few weeks later because i hadn't logged in.

So I don't use hotmail anymore :P

Post 5

wtf harb, your emails don't just get deleted :P i accidentally deleted about 20 emails the other day, just ticked the wrong box :P

and if you resign up for the same info it should save your information and emails.

Post 6

yes, they did just get deleted, and it wasn't like 6 months since my last login either, and I use MSN every day.

Did a check around after it happened, and apparently they did it to a lot of people. Great way to keep people on hotmail.

Post 7

LOL..well thats pretty ****ed.

Post 8

been on windows live hotmail for about i donno....nearly a year.
was shithouse at first but the ended up fixing it

havent gotten any deleted emails

Post 9

They didn't just delete a few emails, it was a complete account reset due to inactivity after the conversion.

Makes sense for new signups, is ****ing stupid for auto conversion of old accounts that get checked only occasionally.

Post 10

Gmail is better.

Post 11

Wow... never knew ppl still used hotmail....

im one of them people that goes with the "if its not broke, dont fix it"
that and i have had a hotmail address since like 98 so im not changing now

Post 14

Im with knight, had it that long its not worth the hassle of changing.

Post 15

lol i still don't use live think its a waste personally

Post 16

yep I've had my hotmail account since 98 and don't see anything wrong with it. Never had my account deleted, might get one or two spam a week if that.

Oath, they couldn't upgrade Hotmail to the level of Gmail, no competition there.

Post 18

yeah im with everyone else, never had any problems with it, no need to change.
