This basically has to do with my computer i am planning on buying, right now...this is whats going to be in it at this cost i estimate "905.
As you can see, there is no graphics card there, i'm not sure on which graphics card to buy anymore, i want a GOOD one... (I was planning on getting a 8800GTX except, that send the prices up another $800-1000, over my budget.)

I would appreciate any suggestions on the graphics card to keep the price around the $2500 mark max.
I'd still like to have a decent graphics card though. Also, those costs are estimates, i was quote about $2900 for this setup with the 8800gtx which is about right... so i'd guess without it the price should be "900 leaving about a max of $600 for the graphics card, to keep within my budget, also i would appreciate any suggestions on this setup, and also appreciate feedback of what you think of it. =DDD <3

Get an 8800GT (you can get 2 for the price of a single 8800GTX)

I looked at the 8800GT, it's pretty nice..i didn't see a price, but if it's half the price, i'm quite happy with that. So far, this is definately the best idea :P Considering it's the only idea. xD

Plus, it's pretty much what i want aswell.

Thanks, HeLLshEEp.

That lot comes to "755 by my additions, leaving $745 from your 2500 for your GFX card.

MSY have Leadtek/Gigabyte/Asus 7800GTXs for 702/729/729 respectively.

Even if you buy the rest local, someone could buy you the GTX and sent it to you for within your budget.

Also, FYI on pricing of the pieces you list there from MSY:
500GB WD SATA: "32 (180)
Pioneer 212 (drive only): $39 (70)
Thermaltake TR2 550: "01 (150)
Monitor, they have the 2ms ASUS VW222U for $345 - $30 less than the 20" model you have listed. http://www.asus.com.tw/products.aspx?l1=10&l2=89&l3=362&l4=0&model=1740&modelmenu=1

I know it sounds like preaching, but you CAN build the system you want for the money you want to spend.

Id buy an 8800GT and put the extra cash into a raptor for the OS

Thanks for all the great advice, i shopped around, and was quoted about $2900 for everything i listed, including the 8800GTX though, i didn't have the time to look at every place that sells the stuff, but i checked out a few more last night, and did come across cheaper prices, Thanks for the info.
