DGA45 Announced - Rego open

Dawingamers association is please to annouce

DGA45, the modern warfare lan.

Location - Tech Rentals 101 Coonawarra Road
Timings - 12midday Saturday the 15th December - Sunday 16th 12pm
Costings - $20 entry fee.

With the recent release of COD4, DGA is squeezing in one more lan before the holiday break.

Food - Snags and steak will be available with enough bread to cover it (dragon :p )

Drinks - Cokes on sale once again.

DOOR PRIZE - at 9pm SATURDAY night I will be doing a random draw of all those at the lan, (names in a hat) winner will get a 400gb IDE drive. This is the same drive that I left at home last lan :/ .. wont be forgetting this time .. So to be eligible for that prize you will need to be at the lan paid and set up to receive the prize.

Is anything going to be done about the lack of net connection at this LAN?

I would hate to have 10 people that I don't know, randomly ask me to use my phone to access steam.

ooh, has of the organisers thought about having dedicated IP's for the people who paid?

i.e: When you register, you are assigned an IP address which will give you access to the network - in a bid to stop people not paying for attending the LAN.

their switches are too dumb to make that anything more than a minor inconvenience to everyone.

no net connection fash. Just hoping that there will be no patches, the day before the LAN (like there strangely always is)

net will again be hard to come by i think, best you can do is test your games before you come down, unplug from your net and run them before you power off

With DGA a few days away there are still plenty of seats available. Dont forget to register to ensure you dont miss out.
