and as i said before they aren't local, the tosser lives in QLD.
although sometimes when i need something desperate asap i will still buy from there, but their prices vs internet are not even worth comparing.

hmm, I'm looking at getting a case from there (the Coolermaster Nvidia edition one) but they're charging $450 for it.
from here (cheapest on the internet) it come to just under $400, with enough to spare to buy beers.

They lower their price, I buy it from them. Simple.
Warranty (or rather, ease of claiming it) isn't a big enough factor for me to buy local, so I spend my money where I get more for my dollar.
In most cases where I've actually had to claim warranty, it got sent south anyway.

They are a pretty good store, concidering local, and the prices aren't totally stupid, but i don't think most of us would shop their unless we really needed too. why spend a premium for no apparent reason?
unless of course you think your doing a good deed and changing the world. which is pretty dumb. concidering the store is probably chained from down south anyway. and don't give me this job bullshit, unemployment is like 1%, the only people not working are black fellas and milenko.

I found Computers for you i nightcliff shopping center pretty good, if anyone cares, that saidI havent been there for a while so it may have changed.

leading edge, spent 5g there got local 2 yr replacement warranty, paid thru the roof but had issues with ram, gave a stick till me new pair arrived, also issues with verifying windows and all sorts of crap and they sorted it out for me pronto.

I agree, leading edge owns, i've had no issues with them so far...sure, there prices are a bit higher than the internet, but im still happy with them. There parts are pretty good quality, and they are really helpful.
