I've decided to give our custom maps server another face-lift, this time flushing out the maps installed with an entirely new set - not just custom maps, but hilarious, crazy and fun custom maps.
The rotation looks like this: - mario_kart

Don't forget though, at any stage during any map you can say "RTV" which will help rock the vote to change the map - so if everyone is up for something different, that's how to do it.
Yaaargh, otherwise known as Vikings, is probably the most fun I've tried so far. It revolves around two pirate ships, one blue and one red - you can fire yourselves out of cannons across the map, drive boats, play music on stage and of course blow each other into a mess of presents and balloons.
Oh yeah, we've also enabled the birthday mode, which gives you all tiny little hats and replacement gibs.
We hope you have fun, it has already attracted a lot of attention and there are already a dozen people on the server having a bash. Be sure to post here if you have any feedback on the maps.
Update: due to the insane popularity of the server, I've decided to go hunting and add another 4 stand-out fun maps. They are...

that pirate ship stage is a lot of fun... need to set the cap limit tho.... the mario one is a bit funky but fun... the convoy one is a bit sniper happy i think..

All of the maps are flawed in one way or another - they're gimmick maps, so I don't expect them to play perfectly, but it's just meant to be a bit of fun... which is exactly what they've been so far. :D
Look for tc_overwatch, falling_cp and some others I'm trying to remember! There's a good soccer one where you have to shoot the ball into the goals at each end which gives you a cap point too.

I have heaps of maps in my directory, but those are the only names I remember / recognise as fun maps that you don't have yet
RTV always works. If the default one at the end of the map time doesn't work for whatever reason, type RTV to do it manually - that one ALWAYS works :)
Pandan speaks the truth. Sometimes the vote for "next map" won't work, but getting the majority of people to type "rtv" will initiate a new map vote, and will always work.
Everyone's favourite fun map, Yaaargh (Vikings), is getting an update!

I'll make it more obvious that you have to shoot the glass and lowering the glass HP. Removing overlays because they have a bug which makes them stay on for the rest of the map, not because players-who-don't-like-fun-gameplay-elements kept whining about it

Dave, for the fkn zillionth time, you have to type RTV if it gets stuck on a map. If not enough people vote/ don't want to change, then you're stuck on the map - it's that simple.
