I've got it for my ps3, and I'm loving it so far, looking for more people to play multiplayer with. If you played any of the older burnout games (3 especially) you will find this one a little different, in the fact there is no actual set events, you just cruise round the city, doing what ever you feel like in you car. If you feel the need to race or do an event, just pull up to a set of lights, and smoke your tires, and challengers show up.
And they have the perfect song for the start of the game.
So if you have it, add me to your ps3 friends list and lets go do some co-op challenges. :P
This is the first game where the ps3 version has better multiplayer over the 360 version, because it never leaves the in game UI, and the blade doesn't pop out and mess with the game.
I was going to pick this up, but I saw on the back of the case that it only said 1 player and 2-8 players online. Can anyone confirm if this has offline multiplayer?

confirmed, there is no offline multiplayer, its all online.
Add me if you wanna take me on a race or takedown :)
*ahem* anything your 360 can do, my ps3 can do better?
lol, i dont mind burnout as it currently is, tho being a full free roaming game does have its disadvantages, like not knowing where the feck everyone is while im online.
i raped doa beach volleyball too much already, also gears of war, etc etc etc, and sold my 360 heaps long ago, appreantly the new owner got ring of death a week after o.0;;; lucky still had warranty.
