The Qur'an mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse:
"And we have made the earth egg shaped". The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 79, Verse 30
The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.
doesnt it just make it all the worse that the guy blindly follows a book he hasnt even read properly?

If it means an expanse aswell as egg shaped, that could easily be taken as meaning flat. Most people would associate expanse with a large flat open area.

Maybe quantum time physics and rip in teh space continuim which leads back to the place you started without you realising it
or cause the earth 'is flat' maybe its a big disc and you kinda always walk ( or fly) the right slightly so your always doing a big circle?? ;)

The ancient greeks, who enjoyed working out the shape of things, figured out that the earth must be spherical thousands of years ago. The Arabs had a lot of greek books during the high point of Islamic culture, so it would make sense that they knew about it also.
