I have a Q6600 I'm willing to part with. There are no faults with the CPU, I've owned it for approximately 6-8 months. Last used one week ago, reason for sale, is it's a spare (no longer have computer for it.

I'm pretty sure everybody know's about the CPU so I won't go into the spec too deeply (2.4ghz x 4 with 2x4mb L2 cache). HSF is the standard HSF that came with it.
CPU is clean and will come in a box. Please note, there is NO DAMAGE, and proof of opperation can be supplied if picked up or requested. Price I'm asking is $230 or nearest reasonable offer.

Offers ONLY in PM.

Is it a G0 core or not? Because the difference is significant. If you're unsure, put it into a 775 machine and load up CPUZ or WCPUID and have a look.

It's a B3 stepping. And no, the difference it's significant, it's slight. It only makes a significant difference if you want to reach 3.6ghz on air cooling (G0), or 3.5 on air cooling (B3). Incidentally I do have G0's and B3's running side by side, and the difference is not as measurable as some more 'hardcore' people would have you believe.

This CPU definantly clocks at stock voltage at 3.4ghz, though that's on water cooling (I do not run air cooling anywhere, anymore. I also do not make a habbit of hardcore overclocking.
