I was going to suggest the same thing as Knight. Its easy enough to do, keeping track of what screws went where is about the hardest part of the whole job, I just had a similar problem on a Laptop screen recently.
o very easy to do there is only 3 components to a standard LCD screen (power board, controller board and the panel itself) trying to find replacement boards or cables will be another hurdle in itself thought. but pulling it apart to check that its just not loose or dirty shouldn't be a drama.
try another monitor on the pc if all works try new cable between pc and monitor if that doesnt work then go see elmar at em electronics :) or buy new monitor
Well here's the insides of the monitor. not experienced to know what stuff is what so yeha...
well didn't look like anything was wrong, so will put it back together tonight and see how it goes, i'll try another dvi cable as well but don't think that was the problem and neither the power as well.
Thanks for the help guys.
And don't mind the two pin cables, i think my dad pulled them out while taking the back cover off.
the green board is the controler. make sure all the cables are seated correctly, especially the 1 at the bottom and 2 at the top, wouldnt hurt to take them out and run any shit of them.
also why is there a sad face on one of the chips on the controller board :(
