My cat is MIA :-( She's been missing since Monday this week (21st of July) I don't expect anyone on here to have seen her or anything like that. But I just wanted to promote a local website that I discovered that helps people that have lost or found pets. Top End Lost and Found
They only work on word of mouth so I thought it would be useful to promote it whenever and wherever I can. So if you have lost a pet, or have found one this site could be a useful tool.
On a side note, I visited the RSPCA during the week and I was very impressed with the people working there. They are a very professional unit and I assume most volunteer their time.
Did you get that chip tag in your cat. I lost my dog a while back and because of that they didnt classify her as a stray and called me pretty much right away. When you find your cat you might want to try that.
Yup she has a microchip. The RSPCA and the DCC pound told me that they scan animals as soon as they arrive looking for a chip. So hopefully I can be as lucky as you were :-)
On that website is warning about cats being used as Crab bait.
In Melbourne our old cat had run away and I got a phone call 6 months down the track as it was microchipped. Let the 'new' owners have it. That one was a psycho****.
