did a check recently and SSd drives have dropped in price a lot

like i love usb drives but no matter what brand they break in a year or so im my experience. and when they break they break, not like a normal hdd when they get ill and your instincts say copy data off this drive.
i just dont wanna trust putting my precious big brother archives on a drive that might just die all of a sudden :(
