Is it possible to run a old HDD (sata) in a new comp?
Cause i cant find my OS discs to boot up my new HDD, and was wondering if i could possibly just plug and play?

If you mean a disk with an old install on it, then maybe. Sometimes it will boot on new hardware but about 90% of the time it will just bluescreen until you repair install it. The only other way around it is with Acronis True Image.
Use Acronis to make a backup image of your hard drive, then restore it using universal restore and you can add in the new drivers to it without the need for a full repair install. This works great for transferring existing vista installs onto new hardware.
please explain?
you wanna use your old hard drive as your operating system drive but it was installed for old hardware ?
(Not really you can go and remove all the devices and insert the new drives :)
Unless your chipset was the same then it will work :)
or if its vista you dont need to best thing about vista i guess.
