Lineage 2?

wow this hasn't been used in a while...so yeah, how massively different is this game scince i last played it :P

entire new race, XP and loot as been massively increased (not to the point of private servers but still), Quests give enormous XP (got 140k XP at level 15 for running around :P), Herbs are ****ing godly, drop from almost every mob, give buffs of every sort lasting for 5 minutes and healing and mana, newbie guides in every town give free prophet buffs and a healing cube? to everyone up to level 60 i think?, blessing of protection allows below level 40 players to never be attacked by anyone 10 levels higher, so you can no longer get ganked either. The entire Kain server has merged onto another.

You can buy gear up to high end C under whats called average gear or something, thats really really cheap gear that cant be sold, dropped, traded, enchanted, but by cheap i mean a couple of hundred thousand for C grade weapons. vendors have everything cept A and S gear. everyone can get pets too i think, not sure about that one. can get scrolls which take away death penalties.

oh and the new race is ****ing hacked too by the way. alot of bad things in the game have been taken out, so im ****in around again, started a new race character level 22 at the moment played maybe 3 or 4 hours in game? most of that figuring out what the **** to do and where to go again.

not really, probably a ton of people did just what you did - saw it on steam and thought "i remember that! wonder what's changed?" :)

Aion is meant to be out soon and its essentially lineage 3 :) but not as grindy.

by the way, all accounts that werent banned were automaticly reenabled due to the coming out of the last patch for lineage 2 (so they say), so you can just go and log in again for free.

and 4 days before this i paid to have mine reenabled... :/

yeah, NCsoft has done it across their rrange - city of heroes is free to old players til sunday too

lineage is till the 11th of may.

This turned up in an Internet search, why is the Heretic name so familiar? I registered just to ask you this, and to deliver a warning in case you're a long lost friend of mine! However I forgot what the warning was, and it had something to do with a stick of bacon, a cheese cake, and a pretzel.

holy crap, im now fairly sure i know why its familiar. well i was stupid enough to play it and im gonna go ahead and tell you its still pretty much the same 1-77, slightly diff at 78-80, and very diff at 80+

yeah probably someone else. when slipknot made the heretic anthem, all of a sudden millions of teenages knew what heretic meant and thought it would make a cool name.
