Bah, been having conflict issues with GameGuard and Avast I think. I dunno. I hope NC Soft drop it before release.
Gameguard is there to stay; its been around for years with previous ncsoft releases.

Yep, I had to uninstall Avast. It was freezing my whole PC up when trying to run Aion.
for Nod32, I added exclusions for the Aion dir, aion bin dir, and the gameguard dir in it. had read threads suggesting disabling anti-stealth and self defense, but the above rules seemed to sort without doing that anyway.
yeah. Any alternatives to Avast?
Is Nod32 any good with Vista64? (or Windows 7 64 which I will be upgrading to)

Chrome works for me just fine and I'm running avast.

I would add my name to the list but, my whole World of Warcraft Guild is going to reroll on Aion on the same server as GU's guild and want to still be called <Epsilon> :s lol

If anything they might even be interested in forming an Alliance at end game.

They seem to have fixed the GameGuard/AVAST issue. I just installed it on my main PC to be ready for the release and there was a new update. I was able to start the client up without the usual crash. Obviously couldn't log in as beta over but I was never able to even get to the log in screen before.
Is there any way to create a character now that the beta is over?
i'll be playing cleric initially but it looks like we have a few clerics at this point so mite lvl a sorc as well

It's decided. I am going to be a ranger. Not sure on the name just yet. Probably something silly like Orgonurs or Thermous (I like to carry coffee with me)
Chanter's looking like it atm but toying with the idea of SM or something else we're short on. Seems like there'll be a massive overflow of chanters and lack of SM because of sucky NCsoft love.
I'm going spiritmaster, so there's at least one of those.
