Yeah I chuckled when I heard him say that, especially when I knew how the story unfolded. We copped a lot of the same at IAS too. Optus were just as helpless to do anything about it.

Got to love the l337 network security guru who pulls up outside an ABC employees house "who's turned off his security for us". Dude if it was SO easy to hack why did he just show us? Probably cause he didn't have ~4 years to hack the WPA encryption instead of the less secure WEP.

I think he was just showing that with unsecure networks and lack of knowledge towards share folders a person can easily extract personal information from your computer... if you store it on a computer.
