Just a warning for those less familiar with the game, it won't let you create an asmodian if there's a server imbalance.

And everyone should really follow the twitters, they updated the patches, and didnt actual put up the game servers untill sometime after 5:15am our time. so people trying to just log in obviously didnt get anywhere.

eh? why couldnt you do that anyway? or does this game allow you to log the same account in more than once? only reason i can see for it is to force you to pay for a second sub to get characters on both sides on the one server.

If you could have both Elyos and Asmodian, you can do a who search and find information on both sides, locations, levels, classes. and you could also grief revial legions without them being able to kill you.

sorry no doubt i'm making an argument that's been done to death with WoW etc - i just never saw issues with it in CoH/V's PvP.

anyone getting a msg when choosing a name saying "some of the words used are forbidden"?
im using the same name from beta "Metis"
and its not cos its taken cos i can use my other beta names, and if the name is taken i get the msg "that name is alredy in use"... any ideas?
UPDATE: turns out the forbidden msg means that there is an NPC with the name, **** thats annoying

not just the search stuff. you could easily greif guilds, abuse people, its just alot better if its only one side. its just not a good idea to be able to switch sides so easily

I thought it would be so you can't create a character on one side to allow room for you to create a character on the other leaving the other side with a character that isn't playing and therefore making the sides lop sided.

This was never the right place to put all the names of characters. You want people to post their characters in the Aion Master Player List?
Remember too that the names are case sensitive.
