Well...I'm sure all that partook remember the Octa4 Lan, july I think last year...anyways...
We have two major Lans...DGA, Landed, and the semi occasional (well its supposed to be) Octa4 Lan...the point is...have we considered the possible merging of DGA and Landed? With the efforts Layoric and Phoenix (and TN1) put in, much to the same end...it seems like covering the same ground twice.
The point is to create a regular Lan in Darwin that is fun, competitive and organised...I think the best thing to do would be to pool your efforts...anyway, please reply with thoughts/comments.

I'm looking forward to it... but I think a monthly one is rather too tiring.... make it once every 2 months to make it a bit more grand... It'll also give time for organizers, sponsors and participants to breathe a bit from the event.
I have been advised by our public relations officer (R3COIL) that the sponsors looking into DGA as a permanant Darwin gaming thing want us to hold it once a month. You will probably find that some months have low numbers others have high numbers but for all those who love to lan - we will be bringing the lanage your way once a month.
BTW When I discussed things with Layoric, that was after the last Landed Lan. We have not spoke of it since. Anyone got any suggestions for a merger? I think DGA is pretty much set for now - we have the gear, will have the location soon and the numbers from last one show that we have the following. Not to put down the Landed Lan's either but I see no need to close either one down in order to merge when we are both going so well. Layoric - your thoughts?
