i came on (internet) a couple of hours after i got home after LANDED and there was no feed back so id thought id make one
WEll i loved the landed PLENTY off space, air con, sleeping stuff, trollies for comp gear, close to subway and mackers, good network setup, tables chairs, etc
AND we even had the human punching bag up :P

Yup! I was certainly the best Lan ever next to the Octa4 Lan. ^_^ If that had the connection to the Internet... DAMN SWEET!!! The room was for lack of a better word, PERFECT for Lans! ^O^
Fantastic venue, fantastic fun. Although I was a little disapointed with the lack of organisation in terms of the so-called CS and Q3 comps that were meant to take place.
I was very impressed with it all, apart from not really been able to play anything apart from CS or DOD (although I ROCK in dod!) hehe
all in all...5 outta 5

Well what can i say. Well done and thanks to everyone who turned up. The LAN was great fun and the attendance was pretty high.
I think what made the LAN was the venue, so much space and a good a/c system.
The few problems that were had will hopefully be solved by next LANded, such as the tourneys and the thieves (some people are so desperate they are stealing CDR's at LAN's. wankers...). I will sit down with layoric the day before the next event and we will work out the tourneys and such.
Also we are looking forward to sponsorship for the next event so you can look forward to prizes if you win :P and hopefully the attendance will be higher next time which means more glittering prizes and prize money, and a smaller entry fee.
Once again thanks to everyone that attended =)
BTW: look forward to seeing an even better LANded site in the next few weeks

my comps controls were changed and screenes taken (AHEM RECOIL) yeah but who ever changed my control were dumb i use asdw controls not the arrowy things SO LOL @ REC

Congrats to Layoric on a well put together LAN noght and securing a sweet venue. Cost was a little high all round but more people = less cost so put the word out. 30 round clips of MP5... I know there's a 200 rounder there but its just a bit faster firing like a UMP.
I wish there's an SD3, 4, 5, and 6 version of the MP5...
And how about the Israeli Galil-SAR, and the British LA-85 Mk5, or the French FAMAS, and the SMG version of the famous Steyr Bullpup, the Russian AK-74, Russian Kalishnikov SMG... We need to ask Valve software to
have expand and extend the list of aresenals used.

Thanx everyone for coming, glad you all enjoyed the most part of the lan, the comps were a bit slack and stuff true, thats was mainly cause of lack of prize money i think and some clans were rather... umm.... intoxicated, not mensioning any name *cough* S *cough* =p
so even if we did have a proper tourney, [S] wouldn't have got a fair chance to retain there tital. Though they still won by default cause people just stopped playing.
I will be getting another lan together around easter holidays, so be sure to keep your eye on the this forum and the Landed site and forum.
Also thanx to Mortar for helping out and to Zeareaper and Shannow for bringing the switches. Thanx to Eater_of_Souls for the music, was cool =). And of course thanx to all that came, hope we'll have more next time.
As far as steeling goes at lans, thats just plain wrong, who ever is doing this has got some serious problems and should not come to lans at all! Sorry about all that Eater, if you need anything burnt just ask =)
