Yeah, was a fekin good LAN! As usual, the Carlton has proved to be an above average location, pleasing everyone who attended. Too bad about the CS competition not kicking off, that was disapointing though...
3 days of playin cs Tribes 2 heaps other games didn't u guys get bored of all the games u where playin... What else did ya do besides play games leech and listen to music?

Things I did at DGA5 <UL TYPE=SQUARE> <LI>Spent nearly 6 hours fixing wtf was wrong with my rig [img]http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smilies/cwm10.gif[/img] ... only to find out it was an OS problem [img]http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smilies/cwm14.gif[/img] <LI>Had a few screams with me facing the enemy with a knife cuz I couldn't draw out the pistols with the scroll button [img]http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/biggrin.gif[/img]. <LI>Had a 3 hr nap on Sunday... got really tired after the full meal at Red Rooster. DGA 5 was excellent. Great venue, great network, and food close by (not to mention the view on the way to the food [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/biggrin.gif] ) ...........what more could you want.

Anyway DGA#5 was kinda my child. I did everything for that lan because TN1 had a big whinge about DGA#4 being only him doing everything. All I can say is I had myself a great time except perhaps for my foul mood on Friday after spending all night up with OD trying to fix the Intralan after doing what he said and removing and reinstalling appache and some other crap (which totally fuX0red everything) OD - it took five minutes for the UNIX guy at worok to fix. Seeing as it was the last Lan I will be attending in Darwin, I have now handed the DGA keys over to EOS and TN1. I hope you guys can do me proud, I have spent many years building DGA into something of a regular event. Not knocking TN1 for his great efforts in the past, but at DGA#5 to me he was just a real pain. So anyway hope you all enjoyed yourselves and in future all I can recomend is dont sit next to Howie if your gonna kick his arse in Q3 - he's a whinging ho. Also dont sit within a five meter radius of Rec, he tends to kick too much. (must be damn horse bloodlines coming out)
I hope to return to Darwin in a few months and maybe in a couple of years for a longer stay, so between now and then go hard, play hard and kick some computers, I mean butt. SOZ Rec it was too hard to resist.
Oh and btw, you dont need to sit next to TN1 to hear him whinging about getting owned in Q3. He was screaming at me from the other side of the room [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/wink.gif]
