different Lans

i know alot of gamers like to have Lans like every weekend and all, but i think there should be a little more space between each lan, and also that there should be different focasus for each lan. Such as one lan can be devoted to half life mods, another to rpg, another to the quakes. i wanna see some varity, so new people will be tempted to join in the gameing comunity

True .. he has a point about that. Like i have allways said if you want to play a game, be Halflife mods, Quake 3 RTS, Flight Sims ( someone did ask for that last time)

Anyway if you want to play a game, TELL ME, and i will try and get somemore ppl to join you, and maybe setup a server ( if needed )

DGA-LAN The Home of Darwin Gaming.

i was at dga3 for a few hours, and if u don't remember i am not alowed to take the family comp outa the house (working on it though, i am also already alowed to go to BH) and i can't play on others computers as they always want to play. I was gonna use ZeReapers comp at dga5 but he has given it to TN1 as a server, so i am once again stuffed.

Yeah as soon as we get off our lazy buts (and as soon as NWN comes out) we are going to have LANded - RPG where it is dedicated to RPG's. Sadly at the moment there is only one good RPG multiplayer title out (fallout tactics). Once there are a few more released we will organise these LANs. Well man i will play other games with ya at lans... I really enjoy a good ole' game of Star Craft Startship Troopers MAp at a lan...

or just a melee game...

OR even play MotorCross madness ... THAT GAME ROCKS.. we did that at the end of DGA2 for those who remember... and IT WAS COOL

Step outside the square you live in and try some thing different, (and im not only referring to Q3 Wortel! [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smilies/cwm20.gif] )Hows about AOE (age of empires) or H3 (heroes of Might and Magic 3). Those are just a few and they make great Lan games.

And yes it seems that everyone besides me likes CS, but i was under the impression that we played these games to get away from reality. If i wanted to walk around with a gun and kill ppl in realistic manner i would get my my gun out of the safe and drive to Canberra or something.
