Hey peeps, just wondering when the next LAN will be held in Darwin. Not necessarily LANded, DGA, etc. Any others?

i think this might delay the lan cause the ADMIN's for DGA have to work out a system that will get people in and also get their money in.
if u know what i mean
+ its only a few weeks more it is better if the lans are a few weeks apart anyway cause than people dont get board of going to lans and than as soon as we know it the gaming community is dead

Ok, maybe I need to clear up what I'm asking. HOW DOES IT DELAY THE ACTUAL LAN??? I mean it does not take 2 weeks to think up a system at all, someone explain it to me!

Leigh, by ways the I understand yes a system may take 2weeks to think up. But why hold a event that quick, the wait is so that people understand that this will not be tolerated. Its not that we cant do it a lan in that time, its the we dont want too

And btw, the system that the DGA admin's had @ DGA9 (Berrimah Police Station) was fucking excellent. With the names printed next to their set IP's - very good way to go. At Evo. and LANded they didnt have that - not cool :(
And the Berrimah Police Station was one of the best venues a LAN has ever been held at in mah opinion :D

Yeah, the Police station is a great venue.
And I expect people would be more reluctant to steal there.

The ticketing system was and still is a great idea. It ensures that DGA gets their much needed funding.
If wankers still dont want to pay, then just make everyone pay the door (easier to do at bridge club). i will volunteer for Door Bouncer Duties, been a while since i have slapped some heads :D

Best location IMHO was at the centra where Landed was held.
Great service, was allowed to have music as loud as we wanted, the whole box and dice.
