Lots of vids of games making use of Sony's new motion controller. Its meant to be much more responsive and accurate then the Wii one.
Here it is with a proper game Socom 4. SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Video Game, GDC 10: PlayStation Move Gameplay Walkthrough (Cam) HD | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com

Watching SOCOM... still look terrible to play with it. Motion controller gaming seems destined to fail right now - for the hardcore gamer anyway. Fantastic for casual and party games.
Quote: But is Sony's motion controller worth parting with paper?
We certainly thought so, ending our PlayStation Move review with a lovely 90 per cent stamp.
We were particularly impressed with the 1:1 accuracy of the hardware and thought it got one over the Wii thanks to the PS3's HD graphics.
In the wider world of technology, our friends over at TechRadar were similarly impressed with the Move giving it a 4/5 and calling it an "excellent piece of gaming technology".
IGN gave similar if not quite the same amount of praise with a score of 8.5 out of 10. The site agreed that the tech was incredibly accurate but found frequent recalibration a bit of a pain.
Engadget and The Guardian were equally enthused about the product - with the former saying that "Sony's got all the right ingredients here".
CNET on the other hand wasn't all that impressed awarding only 3 out of 5 stars and saying that while the motion tech was the best in gaming, the launch titles were "lacklustre".
It's out in Australia now, yeah? Will have to pick up a kit on the way home.
Ok so i was looking at the packs Starter pack has a Move controller (big glowing knobby one), Eye Toy and a starter disc. Is this all thats required to play all the titles that Move has on offer at this time or is it required to also get the 47 dollar "other move thingy" as well?
Picked up the move controller and sports champions, I've been playing disc golf flat out since Friday it takes alot of skill to get your frisbee going exactly where you want it to go and the 1:1 movement is awesome. If you know how to throw a frisbee you know how to throw one in game.
The other move thingy is the nav controller and that isnt required for any of the sports champions games, i think it will be used for SOCOM and other games that require moving aorund.
I think I'll wait for the new Time Crisis to hit at the end of Oct before picking it up - I just realised other than Sports Champions there's nothing I'd want to be playing that is Move compatible. And I've got so much other stuff to play in the meantime.
I'm pretty sure if you are okay without it looking perfect, you can use just the left hand side of a standard ps3 controller rather than the "navigation controller"
Ok watching a few movies of the move in use, it shows the archery component using two Move controllers (no navigation controller) to draw and release the bow, can anyone confirm if this is a requirement or an enhancement?
OD, Formula1 also had a camera already too. Just picking up the controller (or two) and whatever games you want would be the way to go.
I might actually get mine tonight after all, as the Time Crisis Razing Storm demo is already available on PSN so I can give that a go. If they have the gun attachment that is.
You can play all games from sports champions with just the eye toy and The Move(Dildo/Ice cream looking/one with the light) controller. Two move controllers just adds to the fun like with archery and duel weidling frisbees in the challenge mode.
I crumbled and bought Sports Champions anyway. It'll tie me over until Time Crisis. They didn't have the gun attachment in stock anyway, so I'll order it from Game.com.au along with Time Crisis when it's listed for pre-order.
Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Little Big Planet 2, SOCOM 4, Heavy Rain Move Edition, Brunswick Pro Bowling, Killzone 3... seems like a good line-up of compatible games to me.
Especially Time Crisis, and I'll replay Heavy Rain with it (because it was just that awesome). "The Shoot" could be cool too - arcade shooter.
Ok, this is awesome. The responsiveness is really impressive.
The table tennis game in Sports Champions has so much depth, I'm happy I bought it. There appears to be literally unlimited number of shots due to the nature of the control - you can tilt the bat however you like and put on different levels and angles of spin. You can step around to get in really wide directed shots, clipping the edges of the table. You step forward to slam or reach short ball, or step back to lob and block.
It almost feels like you're really playing table tennis.
They've created a motion-enabled sports game, as Nintendo did with Wii Sports. But to say that releasing a sports game is a 'clone' is kinda silly. Besides, it's better in every aspect.
As for 3D Move games, I listed many above.
For those wanting a gun attachment for The Shoot, Razing Storm or Resident Evil 5 etc, here's a round up of 1st and 3rd party options: Over ten PlayStation Move gun controller accessories - I'm still going to grab a couple of the official ones however, even though it doesn't have a sight, because the quality of 3rd party accessories always irks me.
Edit: Just ordered an extra Move controller and pre-ordered the 2 gun attachments from Game.com.au, and pre-ordered Razing Storm from EBGames.com.au.
there are no good games out for it at all at the moment not a single one if they let games like kung fu rider through it will be full of shovelware just like the wii. i would have expected at least one decent title on release.
i'll wait until something comes out that is worth playing, maybe socom? or i wonder whether the fight will actually be any good
Killzone 3 Move preview: Point and shoot | Joystiq
Quote: While I don't anticipate playing Killzone 3 in 3D, I am now committed to using the Move for my first full playthrough of the game. Not only does its integration seem justified to me, but I'm sold on its improved accuracy and greater sense of immersion over the DualShock controller. Guerrilla Games has shown me that even when a game isn't expressly designed for motion controls, the experience can be heightened with PlayStation Move.
For those that don't know the Killzone 3 multiplayer open-beta is available for everyone on PSN, it?s about 800mb.
Tried it out with the Move using a Dualshock 3 in place of that nav controller which makes it kind of awkward. This is my first FPS type game using the Move and for the first 10 minutes or so it was a mission just trying to run around the maps let alone aim at anything :).
After about 30min and lots tweaking the Move controls it started to feel more natural to use, another 30min and I was ranking decently. It?s a completely different experience to using a controller or a mouse. I would say it?s much more accurate than a standard controller and going on to the level of a mouse but as your movements effect your aim you probably won't feel like you have the same responsiveness as a mouse, but its heaps of fun :). Unlike a mouse/standard controller the steadiness of the cursor is up to you.
Some things I have found hard, running up stairs with it can be annoying and when going in/out of scope I find I end up aiming somewhere else. I still have to get used to quickly turning then aiming and I have found it hard to use when enemies are really close. Hopefully more practice with it will fix most of the issues.
I have the horizontal dead zone at 0% and the vertical one at 20 or 30%. Turned off all aim assists as well.
Quote: Played from a position with no risk of flanking, the Move controller offers a level of precision almost akin to the mouse and keyboard. You can quickly, efficiently move your aim around the screen and pick off enemies with headshots. You can hose down entire groups of bad guys with a stream of fire that is surprisingly accurate.
Killzone 3 Makes Motion Gaming Fun Again | Kotaku Australia
Quote: But rest assured that it's not a gimmick, and it's not a cheap cash-in. The Move support for the game is well thought out, and the entirety of the game can be played enjoyably using motion controls. In many cases it's even better.
Killzone 3 may be Move's killer app, makes case for exclusivity
Aww man, guess it's back to playing Flight Controller HD for me :).
Don't know if it's actually going to be ps move compitible, if it comes out at all, I'd like to see Diablo 3 for the ps3 (they are hiring consol game programmers for the D3). I saw another game is coming out that is similar by... Game Loft i think. I read it of a linky of a linky you posted in the thread.
