Hey guys, I'm still pretty new here but I remember at the start of this week reading this thread, and I thought about what would I do if that situation ever happened to me....
Anyway fast forward to this afternoon. I was at home, having Fridays off from uni and playing some bad company 2. Well as fate would have it, a guy (bigger and older then me) walked into my bedroom holding my sisters laptop..... at first I was in shock thinking why is there a stranger in my house?
He came into my room and gave me the laptop claiming he 'caught' some guys trying to steal it. When he first opened his mouth I knew this guy was sus because he sounded off his face, as well as not being able to walk straight.
After having a nice little chat with this guy about how much of a good Samaritan he was, I managed to direct him to the door where the window was smashed ready to shut the door in his face, just before he asked for some money so he can get some food a.k.a drugs.
When he left I was in a bit of shock like "wtf just happened!?" and called the police, who are 99% sure they know who the guy is. They said I will have to go the the police station and identify him and maybe make a statement, which should be fun.
Anyway just thought I should share after reading the other thread, then it accidentally happening to me.
Yeah I know. Its lucky I was at home though so he couldn't steal anything, and at least the sight of me was enough to scare him off, because he was quite a bit bigger then me. Its weird though, when I read the other thread I thought "that probably wont happen to me"......
haha the police said that he would of been stupid enough to tell me his name if I asked, but I was to in shock and trying to get him out to even think that.
Disconcerting and lucky if you think about it because it could have gone rather differently. I woulds have gone pop-eye on his ass, but I'm a bigger than average person with many violent impulses and the ability to use them. Security screens are a good investment in anyone's book :P
