Internode :: Products :: Broadband :: Plan Changes

Post 2

bah, still stuck on the fucking ghey telstra plans they have :/

Post 3

Yeah, Fast didn't change, can't get Naked or Extreme up here :(

Post 4

lol! Mine just went from 75GB to 120GB for the same price!

<3 Node.

Post 5

whats to <3 about them? they're too cheap to put their hardware in the NT. fail node imo.

Post 6

I'm guessing there is not enough of a population for them to get the return on the investment.

Adelaide + Node = win

now most of the extreme plans are "/G at the $60 mark and reduce in $/G after that... I many move back from the Easy Broadband plan I switched to.

The population of the Northern Territory barely makes up 1% of Australia's population. It would hardly be cost effective. Internode is BY FAR the best ISP imo. There are wireless hotspots EVERYWHERE down here courtesy of them.

1 million Adelaideans give a big thumbs up.

Post 8

no need to explain to me WHY they're not here, but as long as they aren't, their plans here are garbage. they're still probably the best of a bad bunch up here, but that just means they're a soft turd rather than a beer can.

Nextgen Networks - Regional Backbone Blackspots Program (RBBP)

Quote:
Timing
Target dates for service availability are:

* March 2011 for services on the shorter Geraldton, Victor Harbor, and South West Gippsland routes.
* September 2011 for services on the longer Darwin and Broken Hill routes.

Note that theses routes will not be lit to provide services until they are completed end to end. Nextgen regional fibre net sparks DSLAM investment plans | CommsDay

so like... 18 months for backhaul, maybe another 6 months before DSLAMs start showing up.

Post 10

Imagine how cheap Node will be in two years for the rest of us :)

Post 11

fast plans have been changed aswell
just changed my twoplus/fast plan - same price but another 25gb extra :D - 100gb for "40 instead of 75gb
this is the 2nd time in the last few months ive gotten an increase for the same price
very happy indeed :D

also a 200gb plan has been added, but its a bit pricey for me :(

Post 12

Jebus. My plan has gone from 25gb/mo to 60gb/mo.

Re: New Internode plans

Or you could just use Internode's free Usenet access? :D

Any changes to Internode EASY plan? 50gb for $49.95
internode plans are confusing

Post 15

The FAST-50 plan I'm on is the same as it has been for months, however it was an extra 10 gig for free when they changed it.

Post 16

Awesome!!! :D

Post 17

120GB? Lightweight. :P

Post 18

240gb? i do that in a lazy weekend.

Post 19

On a lazy weekend I drive up the coast, eat amazing food, drink all kinds of interesting booze and have sex with my girlfriend.

Post 20

Sounds more fun than pala's weekend

Post 21

yes, i'm sure drinking his food would be fun. somehow.

Post 22

poor form, editing your post after i've commented on it. now i just have to resort to the fact that his fun weekend seems to be based around drinking and driving. good combo that.

oh also the fact that sex is generally implied in relationships, you explicitly mentioning it seems to suggest some sort of insecurities there.

Post 23

I edited it at 1:33, you posted at 1:33? And yes, of course I edited it - I made a mistake. Clearly you don't drink food, hehe.

I implicitly mentioned all of that to get a rise out of you. The old "you're a nerd and I'm cool" angle. Seems to have worked, what with the "drink driving" and "insecurities" comment. ;)

Post 24

really, so you think drinking and driving equates to being cool?

Post 25

I think that drinking, sleeping in a hotel room (after having sex with my girlfriend) and driving back the next day makes me sensible - normal, even. That's what most people do on a lazy weekend getaway.

Post 26

when did i mention getaway? clearly your idea of lazy and mine differ completely. to me, lazy is a day where you move a total of about 30 metres.

Post 27

You truly are the semantic master. I mentioned a getaway, not you. When I drive up the coast on a lazy weekend, I call that a getaway. Weekend being the two days after Friday. And that's what I described.

Post 28

what you describe is not lazy.

Re: New Internode plans

It is for me.

Rate your weekly scheduled busyness out of 100. Now rate the worth of those activities out of 100. Add them together, and multiply that by 1000.

That's how much more awesome than you I am.

Post 30

offtopic.. someone should tell a admin.. aww wait.. they both are.

Paladin, please ban MetalAttack. Interuptions of our off topic battle of wit and language should not be tolerated.

Post 33

nor should his constant assaults on the english language.

Post 34

Is he using Angish?

Post 35

Chadish, actually.

Post 36

Yes, you are not wrong.

Post 37

Actually he is wrong - I can read MetalAttack's posts.

Bravely bold Sir Robin
Rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die,
Oh brave Sir Robin.
He was not at all afraid
To be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin.

He was not in the least bit scared
To be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have his eyes gouged out,
And his elbows broken.
To have his kneecaps split
And his body burned away,
And his limbs all hacked and mangled
Brave Sir Robin.

His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowls unplugged
And his nostrils raped
And his bottom burnt off
And his pen--
