Just watched it again. Jesus Christ. It just makes me want to uninstall SC2 and head back to first person shooters. :P

Saw this on kotaku a few weeks back. This kinda makes you want to not bother playing sc2 if your up against people like this
Ridiculous.
This is the sort of shit that sucks all the fun out of online gaming. Its one thing to be up against people better than you, it's another thing all together to know that you will literally never be anything above completely shitty when playing online.
Just like real life hey Wrath?
Might as well end it now :\
dude seriously, suicide encouragement. ffs
Do you actually need to be that quick for SC2? They seemed to just be switching back and forth between units for no reason :/.
Isn't Moon like, one of the worlds best players?
That's like saying it's not worth playing CS because of the top percentile of players that you can't beat.

Yes if you need to both macro and micro at the same time.
Moon is one of the worlds best WC3 players.
and if you think 300apm(actions per minute) is good, look up a Nada video on youtube playing original Starcraft, his apm would usually exceed 500. almost all pro starcraft players would do 300apm in their sleep.
The main reason they do all the switching early on, is actually because at one point in the game they need to be moving that fast in order to microcontrol their units and macrocontrol their base at the same time like chad said. so instead of having to get faster and faster they try and keep their apm that high so when the game really kicks in they are used to playing at that speed.
you will notice when you play, at the start doing only a few actions to get mining, and when the game gets really tough you tend to hit a limit on how fast you can operate things, in order to do more things in a shorter time they train themselves to know the whole game at the fastest possible pace.
Couldnt watch the video but i thought i knew enough about starcraft pro gaming to comment :P
Edit: and yeah as lenko said, saying "Oh em gee i can never beat this guy at playing starcraft" is like saying "oh em gee i can never beat Lewis Hamilton at driving an F1 car". like no shit. thats his profession.
when i was playing wc3... my apm was around 90-120. Your right, most people were 300. Its just too too quick
