I would like to know which location you would perfer to hold the next DGA LAN.

The DBC I like cause its small out of the way, It can hold max 50 people and we can make all the noise we want( with in resaon [img]http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif[/img] ),
The Carlton Hotel Close to the city etc. Food, Discovery... and can hold about 100 + people.
The PYC New location [img]http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif[/img] ... Two full size class rooms, swimming pool, eating room,
Well either PCYC or DBC is fine or HOTEL, question is how many people are you going to limit this too as that will make the decision on where to have it easier. ie if u want 50 have it at the DBC if you want more well then the CARLTON or PCYC would be best.
Comfort. Industrial air-con. Enormous amounts of space. Sleeping quaters. 2 minute walk to subway. Toilets in the next room. Women working out the floor underneath us. (Edit ... good point !!! )

Yeah, just because I love CS, doesn't mean I have other commitments. School, work, social, family.
I need to try and keep a regular sleeping pattern, and since school will just be back when DGA comes up, it will be very important indeed to get the sleep.

The Carlton has lots of great points which works for me.

If it is going to be 2 days ..Why dont we have it at the bridge club .. I would much rather see the entry fee going into the hands of the gamers in prizes than going into the price of the room at the Carton Hotel .. Working on 50 ppl at $20.00 each u would have about $200 left for prizes .. at the bridge club you would have about $500 for prizes .. What would you rather do .. sleep or play for some decent prices for a change!!! Even 1st 2nd 3rd prizes could be on the cards then .. Then I reckon everybody would leave a lot more happier and we would start getting more and more ppl coming back to the LANs

Go for C aint been there sounds nice Swimming pool if we get bored..
Go 3 days more fun..... and the Police thing aint to far for people ? least its Closer to cas then Carlton Hotel and its an easy 10 min drive to Subway and Mac donalds Hungries ect..... :0)

From the Carlton, a 10 minute drive to maccas? How do you bend that around your head? It takes 5 minutes to walk, you must like, push your car or something.
