[Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif] besides the power going out a few times... *Coff* (4 times), but beside the small things like power going out [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/wink.gif] it was good, CS 1.3 was great with Voice, but i still dont like Neo's voice... haha [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/tongue.gif] and speaking of Neo, *coff* BS HS. Thats all i will on THAT. The Lan was held at the Police Centre even though it was for 40 players we ended up having 50 people there, conditions were a bit cramped but we got through it. We held a small CS Comp ( not like the normal comp), this is one a bit different, we had random Clans with random players in it, we pulled players names out of a hat and they were placed in team. Most of the gamers i talked to liked the idea, instead of normal Clan wars, were [TOB] always Wins [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/tongue.gif] It was great catching and seing al of you guys, and I Hope to see you all at the next Darwin Gamers Assoc. Heaps of fun, thanks to everyone involved in organising it, and thanks for letting me sneak in for a couple of hours on the Saturday - I got owned, but it was a blast (and who better to train against but the best neh?) maybe next time I can stay for the Pizza!

Can't fault it - definitely one of the best. Even with the probs (blackouts) it was still a great night/weekend. I especially liked the way the CS comp was done - it was more fun knowing you at least had a chance to win (for us clanless noobs, anyway [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smilies/cwm12.gif] )
Maybe we could do it like this from now on (except for Evo, that is). I know all the clans might disagree, but you already know you're good. So if you want to compete and find out which clan is better, maybe leave that for the Octa4 servers, so the other people at a lan can have a go? Just a thought....
DGA was cool [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif] I rocked up late, so I missed the power failures [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/wink.gif] The networks rock, compared with Older Lans. I could look around me and see everyone leaching files while I was playing CS, and the ping kept between 8 and 25 [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif] The CS comp was interesting, We only played one round (and Won convincingly [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/tongue.gif]), however, I dont think its something that should be held all the time. Thanks to everyone that helped getting it going, Tn1, Clackers, 'n' that bunch. CS 1.3 is bullshit. I pulled out a couple of lucky headshots (Aiming at the toes) very interesting. Tn1, Whats wrong with my voice? Does it put you to shame? [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/wink.gif]. Also they were the most confortable chairs I've sat in at a LAN [Image: http://bbs.gamers.octa4.net.au/smile.gif]
I am sorry for not posting any pics from DGA LAN, as i said i would. My machine has died and i am having troubles getting it back online. I am keen to hear from all the Newbies at he LAN, what they though of the event, and for the younger kids holding the LAN at a Police center. I remember way back in the days of DGA 1 and 2, when someone said I should hold DGA at the PYC and i laughted said yea right with all pR... Scripts .. Even though I got my ass whipped in Counter-Strike until I got warmed up (hey, gimme a break, only 5th time I have played or something like that). THen I got warmed up and everyone stopped playing... hahhaha...
Oh well, it was still awesome fun... watching the sun come up is always inspirational... I left about 8/9am and took my computer to a mates place didnt leave there until 6pm or so... damn what a weekend for gaming!!!!
