After a few hours of CS 1.4 online, i have noticed alot of ppl voicing their opinions on the 1.4 update. Most seem to like, while others constantly bitch about the jumping etc...
What do the rest of you think??????

everything is good
except the jumping

i think the jumping is good and bad the good way is you dont have every one jumping around the map the bad thing is what harb said it's way to reduced

they nerfed jumping in entirely the wrong way.
i dare someone to crouch, back flush against a wall, and try and jump while i unload an AK at them (rl). apparently tho, that still works in game, and thats the shit that needs to be fixed, not just running along skipping/hopping.

I'm not bagging anyone here, but everyone seems to want cs to be more realistic. They bitch about the way people jump thru the entire level get hosties, defuse bombs etc, so valve changes it, and they bitch that they can't jump thru the entire level get hosties, defuse bombs.
The truth is, if CS was realistic, all you would need is a glock, chuck it on burst fire, shoot into a crowd, and there ya go, you win the round. get 10 ppl doing that on each team, and it'll happen quicker. Plus the AWP would have way too much recoil for anyone, yes, ANYONE! to fired it while standing up.
Therefore they would have to put in a prone mode, like firearms, and dod, then if your facing the enemy, all they have to do is firing in your direction, and they have a higher chance of getting a HS on you coz that's almost all they can see. "Oh BS BS! How can you get that many HS's", would be the next outcry. Therfore, realism in CS will prolly never work past a certain point. You could put aimbot's in the game as standard and someone will bitch.
Anyway, back to the point. I love 1.4 because now it's on (almost) all the servers and i can't be bothered to put in the effort (no matter how little) to find any 1.3 servers, so i guess i'm stuck with 1.4 on octa [Blocked image]

In my opinion cs 1.4 is great
the pistol and rifle weapon aiming is much more realistic and better!
The crosshairs are are more realistic
Best of all the jumping is much better.
