The indie voxel-enabled space sim Miner Wars (first mentioned here in this thread http://gamers-underground.com/action-fps/31489-rage-quakecon-2009-trailer.html#post368951 back in 2009) has finally hit Alpha and they've thrown up a demo for your enjoyment:

It plays a bit like a cross between good old Descent and Descent: Freespace - with free-flight between open space and deep into asteroid mining complexes. The voxel asteroids allow you to blast craters in them or even grind them into dust if you feel like it.
