hehe Pinner.. I presume you didn't manage to get on another contract and you are going to 3 gig after July 1 is it?

I guess you would've heard the rumours of not including multicast, arp and udp data? That would be pretty good of Optus to do that but I doubt it would happen unfortunately. Oh well I might be dialup but I feel your pain. I could have another grumble like everyone else does about the state of broadband in Australia but I think that's pretty self explanitory isn't it. Interesting piece Dan did here. Would be funny to see what Optus has to say but they'll prolly give him the cold shoulder or something.

Now all you need it a bunch of Telstra users to come in and laugh at you but I'm sure you've already gotten lots of that :D

We signed up for our new phone line and also re-stated our contract... so we dont go on the cap untill in a years time :lol:

i thought it did on May 31, so i started downloading like crazy, had 3 comps downloading :P
but then i read my emails and noticed i got untill August 1 lol and now my netstats r on 7.9 so i can't d/l anything :S

Anyone with Telstra cant really laugh at us on Optus cos Telstra is still way worse than Optus. Optus may have gone the Telstra way in pricing but they dont delete their customers files from their webspace, and they dont accuse their customers of plotting to do Distributed Denial of Service attacks. :lol:

Also just before the contract finishes i will be inviting as many people over as i can fit in my house and will have a download lan all weekend as my personal protest against the Singtel fags for screwing over Australian broadband :)

That way whether they boot my brother and i off their network or the contract ends, i can move on to the Internode 8 GB plan for "39 (to be announced this week)

Lst month before the cap came in i was 17 gig and counting ;)
