Hello fellow gamers and users of the Octa4 mainframe gaming consortium.
This is just a reminder to all gamers that utilise the facillities as provided to you by the Octa4 Comminuity and the dedication by the Admins in Particular OverDrive.
I have noticed of late a slight depreciation of the standards of those gamers who are using Server 2. Not all gamers. In fact the majority are complying and enoying themselves. BUT...there are a few new members..
At times I enter this server using an alias. I have noted quite a few new players and some of the comments to other gamers, and the language used, threats etc will NOT BE TOLERATED.
So I offer this information to you. Being a member of Octa4 is not a right, it is a privilage and therefore you will think before you open your mouths and express you feelings .
If you are unable to do this or feel that you are being unfairly dealt with, please call 1300 308308 and tell someone who gives a crap.
I dont and if I see this again I will take action. Think Im joking... try me
Please remember this is supposed to be fun and non aggressive and a place where all gamers can come together and enjoy a common purpose. The admins are doing there jobs so dont abuse them, question their judgement or cause grief to them unless you can justify it.
Hell I have had to resort to kicking people before for abusing me. And this is when I was playing as SlyFox.
A lot of players think it is their right to play on the servers and they think that they can speak to people as they like.
Well it doesnt wash with me, U swear @ me, or I find anyone abusing others, I will kick em, no warnings..
If they come back and wanna try it with me, or continue where they left off before the kick..
I think we can do without people like that on the servers.
Its not a hard concept, treat other as if they were standing right there infront of you. So, for example, if U are stupid enough to abuse me to my face, Im not gonna take it, so expect a reaction.
Basically on the server, if U get kicked. That is your first warning... There is no second warning. Continue, and I will ban U. So when U are sitting staring @ the console, just stop and calm down before typing RETRY.
Cos if U get banned, you will have to come here into the forums and write a full and long winded appology to whomever U verbally attacked. Also you will have to do a lot of crawling to the admin staff as well. And U have to explain to us why we as a community should give you another chance..
Then after you have lowered yourself to the level where we start to believe you. You may just be lucky enough for a admin to unban you.
