I've been looking for ROMs for one I have but at present I do not wish to part with my Mega Drive.

ROMs What are they???

I will have to keep my eyes open at cash converters. I saw one on ebay but they are going for a bit. Some of the first bids start at "0 so I might consider it even with the cost of postage.

I actually saw people selling Mega CDs too.

EDITED: Forgot, ROM's are like cartridges arent they :)

:D I got mine and the roms from Cash Converters although not all the roms have cases or manuals. However I also have a Master System converter. I wouldn't mind getting either more roms or some Mega Cds and possibly the Mega CD drive although I can stick the Mega CDs in my PC and run them using an emulator. Borrowed one to try it and it works!

Games I have are:

Sonic 1,2,3
Streets of Rage
Altered Beast
Phantsy Star 2
Syndicate
Mortal Kombat

Master Sytem Roms are:

Double Dragon
Afterbuner
Wonderboy 3: The Dragons Trap

Yeah I have one :) but its my old one and its broken :(.

I have a few games still, Road rash II, NBA Live 95, NBA Live 96, FIFA Soccer 96, Mutant League Football, Australian Rugby League, Barkley Shut up and Jam (it was free somewhere), NBA Jam (I wouldnt mind TE)Lotus Turbo, Aladin, Desert Strike and Jungle Book.

Got to keep my eyes out for a new one. Got a mate at Cash Converters. So hopefully hell let me know when one gets in. I might try and get the old one repaired. its a power problem.

DO any of you guys know anyone ?

I know someone who is running a Nintendo 64 off an ATX powersupply. If he can find out the necessary voltages for the rails he could create a makeshift one.

But it'd probably be better to get a professional.

The port on Sonic and knuckles (S&K) is for plugging in Sonic 3 for saving your game and allowing a combined game as all 3 characters. Soinc 2 also apparntly works. You can also plug in other roms to randomly generate pratice bonus 3d levels.

Remember the Ad? 1st reverse compatible game.

I don't have the Mega Drive version of S&K but the PC version of 3& S&K which has 3, S&K and a combined 3-S&K.

Anyone know how to pass Carinval Night Zone act 2 in Soinc 3? Without cheats?

Cheats from the Site Soinc Team Museum, Exact wording: http://www.emulationzone.org/fanfare/ghz/sonic/son3/son3.html

Sonic 3

Level-Select: When the Sega logo comes up, just after the "Sega" theme is chanted and the screen begins to turn black, quickly press: Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up to the beat of the drums. You should hear a Ring chime if you've done it correctly. A new Sound Test option should appear at the title screen. (Press up with the "1 Player" option highlighted or down with the "Competition" option highlighted to access the new "Sound Test" option.)

Auto Super Sonic: Input the level-select code. At the new Sound Test, play the following tracks: 1, 3, 4, 2, 4, 5, 6. You should hear a Ring chime. You now have all seven Chaos Emeralds and are capable of transforming into Super Sonic.

Secret Special Stage: Input the level-select code. At the new Sound Test, play the following tracks: 1, 3, 5, 7. You should hear a Ring chime. Highlight Special Stage 2 and hold A while pressing Start.

Note: I didn't add the construction code

Hope this helps! DaEmOnLoRd X

I think that's one of the hardest cheats I've ever tried to get (and with no sucess).

Damn! Your Cash Converters is at Coconut Grove! Cashies in Palmo has bugger all MD ROMS. Primarily has PC :D but also Sony and N64 stuff. Their Mega Cds are few and damaged or missing one CD out of two. What kind of ROMS although the machine died do you have? Do you emulate the ones u already own?
