Does anyone know how celebrities get their teeth so white? This is just curiosity btw. Some one said they were fake teeth but...hmph no comment. People like Sarah Michelle Gellar smile and I'm like :shock: !

They get their teeth done up with some stuff from dentists (dont ask me what its called :P). Their not "fake" as such, just.... pollished? could be the right word.
In movies, well everything is given perfect colours anyway :)

Yeah, there's this bleach you can buy (it's special) that comes in like a gel form, and a shaped plastic denture that you wear overnight. During the night, it bleaches your teeth white.
However, be warned... Some of them operate by actually dissolving the very top layer of enamel, and if you use them too much, you wind up with no teeth...

Yeah Darkwolf is right, they have what's called bleaching trays and its a form of peroxide thats used to whiten your teeth in a denture type mould. My brother got me some cause he is in the dental industry. :lol:

I dont think that they would be going for that budget option that leaves you with 6 purple teeth.
Proffessional bleaching can be chemical or laser based, another one has something to do with covering the teeth in porcelain or something

yeha i saw a add on the newer shopping channel and it was a little past u put on for 5 min rinse with some bottle of shit and than go sleep no plates or nuthing

well we all know the power of paintshop pro! most of those great pictures we see have all been touched up to be ultra perfect... thus white teeth....
as well as the ultra popular bleaching option..... most of em just dont smoke... maybe its something in their ultra amzing million dollar water they drink?!

in syd they add flurine and other chemicals to help strenghten teeth. I dont know about the rest of australia :)

That's been a standard practice in 1st world countries for quite some time now. Doesn't whiten them at all, but does strengthen them...
Now, if you believe the conspiracy theorists, here's what they say... Flouride compounds have been shown to have a calming effect on people - they make them more tractable and open to suggestion. Henceforth, maybe the Government is putting flouride in the water to soften us up for the subliminal messages they put into tv shows, all saying "Vote Liberal... Vote Liberal..."

I wouldn't worry too much about the colour of your teeth.. I asked my Orthodontist about that back when I had braces. He just told me that it's normal for some peoples teeth to be yellower than others and that's that. So while I don't have crappy teeth like my dad... they are exactly all that white either. :) Shit happens.. they're only teeth. Now if only I had worn my retainers so I didn't have all these gaps :)
BTW that porcelain shitsor.. I think you might be talking about 'binding'.. if that's the word.. it just came to me and then I lost it. It's where they cover your teeth in this stuff to make them thicker/wider/whiter. My Orthodontist told me I could get it done later on to close up my gaps. Prolly costs an arm and a leg though.

I hear the dremel buffing tool works well on making teeth white. :D
