i presumee u is on about halflife?
i think the only way is to unstall it and reinstall it again

There is also a registry entry

under the current user tree (HKEY_CURRENTUSER?)

Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings\Key

Should hold your CD-key.

When you use a different CD-Key you get a different WON-ID, so you'll have to get a new account for your new WON-ID
