just looking around today and i found the Klipsch company. Don't know if anyone's heard of them but they seem pretty good. www.klipsch.com

Their speakers are very nice.. So are the newer Creatives, they are basically Cambridge soundworks speakers..
I have a set of Inspire 2.1's hooked to a slave PC which is also hooked to the TV for divX viewing..
Saves annoying the neighbours too much with my main system. *grins*.

Klipsch.. hmm. Haven't really heard that name for a while.. Was sure I'd heard of them before. I had a look at the products and what do I see a nice and familiar 'Klipsch Pro Media'. Nice speakers.. I agree they are pretty much like Cambridge speakers. I like the Cambridge speakers because I reckon they are relatively cheap for what you get. No doubt there is probably better out there but you mostly I don't think you could beat them for the price/quality - bang for buck value.

Yeah I posted up a few threads. Most recently http://www.gamers-underground.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4892 - when I have the money of course I will definitely be getting the Klipsch speakers.
Klipsch is basically a high-end Home HiFi company gone to the Audio Computer market, armed with the specially engineered speakers for their speaker designs.
They do end up better in some areas compared to the Cambridge but not for the price for quality. In my opinion the Klipsch sounds are a lot more crisp than the cambridge ones, and a lot more sweet sounding.
The Logitech z560 speakers are also very good set.

Well the creatives do, as I said, if I want to annoy the neighbours I run my main system..
Bose, Marantz, Technics, Soundstream ( reference series :) )
I dont always want the windows to shake when someone throws a HE ya know *grins*

I used to have that while I was at home back in Darwin. The team decides to throw a HE, the walls shook and then some things rattled on the shelves, and the neighbours wet their pants (well the baby at least).
