asshole. no really, asshole. a friend and i had planned a trip to go see them wherever they played in australia, which turned out to be nowhere, which sucks.
In NO particular order (or I'd be here all year)...
* Jimi Hendrix - Live at Winterland
THE best guitarist the world has ever seen at the height of his power - the only way to listen to hendrix is live.
* Nirvana - In Utero
Very polished "grunge" - my fav nirvana.
* The Doors - Live in concert 2CD
The best CD to listen to before going out. Shows you why the doors were BIG.
* John Lennon - Legend
Had to pick this one.
* Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsys
All recorded live over new years eve 1969 - brilliant.
* Perl Jam - Vs
Close between this one and Ten. They are both good for different reasons.
* Pink Floyd - Obscured by clouds
No comment - you'd know if you were there...
* U2 - Zooropa
More polished than Achtung Baby - "Fly the friendly skys"...
* Radiohead - Kid A
Wow - They went further... Musicians taking risks - love it.
* Rage against the machine - Rage against the machine
This band has ENERGY, and TRUE angst - not self imposed record company plastic anger.
Is that a good or bad thing paladin. Papa Roach infest is pretty good too that you mentioned Spero. One or two great songs on it. I remember picking it up in Manila like it was yesterday

3, Sixteen Stone -Bush
4, Grace - Jeff Buckley
5, Born -Bond
6, Gorillaz - Gorillaz
7, Origin of Symmerty - Muse
8, In it for the money - Supergrass
9, King for a Day..... - Faith No More
10, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Smashing Pumpkins
11, Tenacious D - Tenacious D

gonna give up at 5 as too many to name them all. but they are some of the ones I am currently listening to (some of them listening to again :P )
We almost did not seem them either who we did not even know he was touring at the time let alone in vegas..we actually went there to see illusionist David Copperfield and after being strucked by his performence and started walking the strip back to our hotel we saw Bon Jovi advertised on the boards at MGM playing the next night and sure enough there was tkt's avail in pretty reasonable seats..
sure it be your time and moment to see him :) sure is worth it.
