Hey fellas, Iam trying to burn a few music recordings onto a CD, so it can be played on a Music CD player. The usual deal is to convert mp3's into wav and burn away, however I have some 600-700meg audio tracks, and when I try to burn them to a cd, it will either 1) (Nero will) say that it cannot read the file or 2) Burn, but when I listen to the CD only about 15mins will work and the rest is non existant.
Are you burning in Disc-At-Once or Track-At-Once mode? Does your burner have seamless link technology? What burning program are you using?
If you're using Nero, you don't need to convert from MP3 to Wav, you can just get it to convert them on the fly and burn them to CD. Burn it in Disc-At-Once mode - that eliminates the clicking between tracks that throws off some CD players.
Also, try the audio CD in different players (particularly in PC cd-roms). Some CD-R's are unreadable by certain consumer CD players, and you may need to mess with different brands of CD-R (with different dye colours) to find one your CD player can use.
