ah mabye used, for like 40buks plus postage n handling

but a new 1 , prices always diff where u go,
and in melb havent found a cheap 1 yet,
like they still sell logitech's for 70+
the logitechs kind of suk mabye,
remember optikals can suk more than ball mouses at times

i personal like logitech, and a wheel mosue has never done me wrong, so not really a point in changing.
like my friends optical house has beggered up, after not long of owning it, and his gone threw a few of them.

Sorry to say this but I don't think there is any way anybody that has one will part with one.

Don't be cheap and buy a new one. It is the best mouse you can get afterall... :D

A common problem on Microsoft Opticals is that the wires inside thje cable break just forward of where the cable enters the mouse itself. If you take a look at one of these mic you will see that the cable is fairly rigid here and oesnn't have much chance to move. So when you're moving the mouse around you slowly bend the wires back and forth until they break. One fix for this that I have seen is simply to buy a USB cable... and solder that in. The good thing abvout this is that the USB cable you buy is likely to be of higher quality, longer and in the end prolongs the life of your mouse that little bit longer :)

i would have to say a logitach wheel mouse man, does the same thing but 10 time cheaper. logitech all the way.

Personally I have quite large hands and I'm finding now after going from a very small mouse.. to a mouse like the Explorer 3 that my hands a longing for something even bigger.. it's just not enough to hold on to.. The Logitech's are just smaller again.. the only thing I'd say is that some of their mice have a quite nice design where the left side supporting the thumb area is very high and helps to support your hand a lot better.

I'd say the Explorer 3 is the way to go...

I use the computer too much anyway.. I get aches and cramps in my fingers/wrist/arm..

Personally I'm a logitech person most of my equipment is logitech especially since I went through 6 MS Explorer mice under warranty.

However I don't really like the design of the new logitech opticals and wireless mice to be released soon.

i got logitech too, just a wheel mouse and a basic keyboard, no need for anything too special.

had my mouse for bout 2 years now and is still going hardm although im looking to get some wireless equipment

must say haven't had any problems with it yet (2-3 years I think?? well since the p3 700 came out anyway) and the bigger buttons (mouse3 and mouse4) and them being on opposite sides of the mouse are better than the 2 small ones on the same side. I say that with games like SOF2 in mind where you can lean :P

For all those like me, who possibly 'were' waiting for the new Logitech mice to come out and whoop that MS Explorer 3.0

This has done its circulation around the net a few times but I thought I'd let you guys see and decide.

I don't know about you people but I'm starting to reminisce on the Chunky Explorers.

i have never had a problem with any optical mouse. I have got all 3 generations of MS mice, and they all still work. This cable breaking thing ppl talk about is something that has never happened to me. Maybe you should try supporting the cable somehow on the side of the monitor or something, and not have it dragging on the mouse.

And the explorer 3.0 is the only mouse that wont skip. Even the dual sensor logitech skips, and their drivers suck major ass.

ex 3.0 are detected straight away by and ms OS. and work perfectly.
my only bitch is the feet on the 3.0 are pretty crap. need better feet.

remove the feet then. thats what i did. :)
