Played paintball on the on the weekend at Paintball Skirmish WA

Was loads of fun, Played 10 (10-20min 2 rounds) games for 20 bucks plus 75 bucks for 500 balls and got a free lunch, I recon you need 1000 though, head shots didn’t count but anything from the neck down did EVEN your pinkie and we played with a 1-3 meter surrender rule.
The reason head shots didn’t count is you at least get shot in the head about 4-5 times each round so you just use the good old beast as a shield.
Both teams have mixed genders.
There were 4 stages one was played twice, first one was a large forestry stage with lots of logs on the ground for cover that was CTF and push threw to the enemies starting pos.
The next one we played was CTF as well but this stage had buildings and 44 gallon drums to hide behind as well as an old school bus that was the key to the map. I happened to run out of ammo on this scenario in front of the bus were there are some 44 gallon drums. Tried to make a run for it by jumping over a row of 44 gallon drums but, that results in 2 shots in the back and one in me bloody ass check, which stung like fuck. I also got the flag next round which was some sort of death wish or homing beacon for paintballs, most of em hit the flag and surrounding cover. Sounds sweet when they fly past your head and hit the metal ground cover but I died in the attempt to push past the bus when out teams was in it due to friendly fire.
The next scenario was sweet and my demise. Bomb the bus, Old Double Decker bus with a chopped of roof. Pretty much assault the fortress, there was heaps of cover on this stage, old cable reels, mini van, Pill boxes and huge creates, the bomb was pretty much a soft football and me and my mate made it to the last big box next to the rear of the buss whist he laid down cover fire for me, I leaped out in my heroic attempt to win the day and plant the bomb, and got mowed down by a fleet of paintballs.. Copped one in the goggles so I couldn’t see 2 in the chest and 4 in the back.. But we one that stage when mate threw the footie bomb onto the bus.
One after that was in the pine forest CTF once more, lots of 44 gallon drums and a flag in the middle that stage was good but I died due to friendly fire.
The next scenario was sweet pretty much Team Death match, Re-insertion one your die at the starting position. Killed so many people one this scenario got one guy in the mouth, 4 people in the head shot snuck up on them and told em to surender one from underneath the mini van other one who was behind an old create on in inner thigh and a few more before I got taken out.
Because the TDM style scenario is so quick a lot of people don’t think when they run in after they’ve died and get shot again.
Worst spot I’d have to say to be shot besides the nuts and tits if you’re a chick would be the fingers, God damn them finger shots sting.
Pity paint balls banned in the NT dunno why though…
