Ive recently considored purchasing a copy of the fantastic Grand Theft Auto 3 for my pc, after many hours playing the PS2 version.
My sources inform me the PC version has been watered down (even more so than the PS2 version). Anyone know if there is any truth to these wild allegations? :twisted:

Well they dont have the ability to hire hookers, although i beleive it is averted by changing your location through windows to say US or some other place. Not sure if it works with the 1.1 patch though

Yeah changing your location fixes it even with the patch, but it's not really worth it.
Nothing that exciting unless you get your jollies from watching your GTA char bounce inside a car while sitting down.

I bourght my PS2 version in the UK upon hearing that the UK version is not edited like the Aussie version. I would have got the PC version had I been told that you can have an "mp3 player" function on that version, but hey still a great name.
