Wiseman and myself were playing a little ol Q3A, I had knocked him off course
when he was doing his usual flying/jumping around the map....
He called me out to the other room where he was playing
and I found that he had finally found the ultimate in camping sites for Quake 3......

And you don't exactly have room to dodge.
its more of a case that it took me several minutes to actually find him, (even with looking on his screen!), and that it was almost impossible to replicate the spot he was in, I had tried for almost an hour and still no success - he could also move back, making it impossible for u to see him
I have seen that before.....
It was on a jumps movie... some Q3 god acutally has managed to bunnyhop around the back on q3dm17......... its scary if you have tried it...
i know i have... never succeded tho..
however i was getting kinda good at the rocket-jump-from-railgun-to-quad-damage-platform on q3dm17...
but now that map just annoys me

next one for you to try.
Far back jump pad (the one on the middle block in center of map) up to the jump pad that takes you to the quad, dont go for the quad yet go over it and onto the rail platform at the opposite side of the map.
Thats probably the biggest jump in Q3 (no mods allowed).
Its old, but ****** hard to pull off.
This wasn't a jump that we were trying (didn't know it actually was!), it was all by mistake....
the jump over quad to rail gun is easy enough to do (i have done it several times myself)....just requires a bit of timing...but funny, I still cant bunny hop properly!
its fun watching it from the 3rd person!
well it took a bit, but i am at that pos RIGHT now.
once you get the hang of it its easy ;)
as for the rocket jump, i am going to try that right now

edit2, can rocket jump from back jump pad straight to quad lol...
doh.
pure fluke i would never be able to do it again
