i got a banksia wave sp 56
quite good. i got it off a mate a lil while ago, connects at over 40kbps. i liked it, just that im getting ADSL soon. sellin in about a week or so.
pm if ya interested, or just post here. can try it out and everything if ya want, i got driver on my HDD for it too. make an offer...if decent.
also still got teh v00d00 3.

i have had about 12 different ISP's over my life time and a few diff modems and i havnt really had much difference in speed its all like 28-33bps
im connect at 49.2kbs atm

knight is right it does work on your line speed but the wave is one of the best modems you can buy it can do 115k in stead 56k so it will be good for those out there that can connect at 56k with thier phone lines cos they might be able to connect faster. I know this because the telstra bloke that put in my new phone line told me that my new lines can handle up to 160 k and when i tested it with a 115k modem sure enough i got a 115 k connection first time.
thats all well and good, but is anyone interested in the modem?
banksia wave modems am good, my friend had one, very good.
i need a modem for my gateway so ill take it
